Employees Commit to 50 Hours of Community Service To celebrate JELD-WEN’s 50 Year milestones, JELD-WEN employees are giving back to communities across Canada.  Each plant or office has been challenged to donate 50 hours of volunteer time to a local, non-profit organization.  Over 1700 employees will be taking part in this cross-Canada initiative.  In fact, JELD-WEN worldwide has been challenged to participate in similar activities in their own regional communities. On June 12, 2010, dozens of JELD-WEN employees from Saskatoon went out in support of the Bridge City Boogie. The Bridge City Boogie is a 2km, 5km and 10km wellness event with emphasis on fun, fitness and community.  The Boogie is all inclusive with age categories reflecting the diversity of participants. “To make the Boogie happen, there will be over 550 people volunteering their time before, during and after the race to help make your Boogie experience a positive one.”…
