This week, Finance Minister Flaherty unveiled the 2011 budget for Stephen Harper’s Government. This budget allocated 400 million dollars to the 2011-2012 ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program. This program was designed to help homeowners increase the energy efficiency of their homes by reducing the burden of energy costs.

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) will announce the admissibility criteria and the other terms of the program in the coming weeks, once the 2011 budget has been adopted by Parliament.
