Our popular Make Your Home a Star! contest wrapped up last spring.
Carole Pelletier was declared the grand prize winner of $50,000 in JELD-WEN ENERGY STAR doors and windows.
Our team went directly to Ms. Pelletier’s home to officially award her prize. She had already decided to use it to give a facelift to an income-generating property—one of her many projects. This 50-year old building needed TLC everywhere, particularly for its doors and windows.
To reduce tenant energy costs, Ms. Pelletier opted for casement windows, which provide excellent insulation and seal out the cold. Our lucky winner is delighted by the experience, particularly as her building’s value will soar with these new energy-efficient doors and windows.
